Updated: Sep 3
The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Fund organized a vibrant Springboard Back to School event, generously sponsored by TiteFlex Aerospace of Laconia and Flex-Tek. Beans and Greens Farm in Gilford was the location where all the fun happened and It buzzed with excitement as 100 eager kids from the Boys and Girls Club of the Lakes Region arrived, their faces lighting up with anticipation. A huge thanks to the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce for introducing the Children's Fund to Flex-Tek. The Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce's mission is to create value for members through collaboration and education that promotes a more engaged community and thriving economy for the businesses in the Lakes Region and by this Introduction they did just that!
The day kicked off the children picking which of the 25 Titeflex leaders they would want to be with for the day after hearing a short compelling introduction from each of them! TiteFlex leaders from across the country, wearing bright T-shirts emblazoned with their logo, guided their group of five to various activity stations where laughter and creativity flourished. They enjoyed barrel cart rides, go carts, oversized jumping pad and slide, petting zoo, apple cannon, games, literacy walk, scavenger hunt, and more.
As the event drew to a close, they had wood fired pizza from Beans and Greens pizza truck and lemonade slushies and talked about the fun day. Each child received a gift bag that they got to fill up with special fun Items.
Many of the children asked If their new friends could come back on the bus with them and said It was "the best day ever".
The smiles on their faces reflected the joy and hope that filled Beans and Greens that day—a true celebration of community spirit and the promise of a bright future. Thank you so much to Titeflex Aerospace for creating a memorable day for the children. We are grateful to you.
